Relay Events Sold Out

Registration for the relay categories (both pairs and team) of the sixth annual Door County Fall 50 reached its full capacity of 300 team on Wednesday, May 18th. Registration for the event opened April 1st, less than 50 days earlier. In order to limit congestion and maintain safety at the start line, at the finish line and at the rest stations along the course, additional registations are no longer being accepted for the relay events. Registration for the Solo (one person) Division of the 50-mile ultra-marathon remains open. Please note that participants MAY NOT switch between the Solo Division and the Team/Pairs Division.

Is there a waiting list available for the team events?

I have a Team of 5 for the relay in case another team needs to cancel.

If there is a team of 4 or 5 that has registered but for whatever reason, it turns out that they cannot participate, please contact me. We have a team that would still love to participate!!

There is no waiting list for the Fall 50. Teams can add and remove people as they wish. Since they have the ability to replace some or ALL members, we see almost ZERO “no shows.” For that reason, we do not maintain a wait list.

To the RD,
Can you email the Western States folks and ask for your race to be added to list of WS qualifiers? I’d much rather run your race then on of the remaining qualifying races on the list. The RD must contact WS via email and asked to be added. I have listed the link below

I emailed Greg Soderlund, the RD of Western States. He wrote this:
Hi Sean,
The Qualifying Runs List is updated annually on the second Saturday in November.
Please send me a request during the first week in November along with a link to the Run’s website.
Check back after the second Saturday in November to see if your event was added to the list.
First annual events are not considered.
WS retains the right to determine which events will be added to the list. Good luck with your event,
